Michael Murphy, publisher of the California Technology Stock Letter, predicts a stock price of 100 by the end of 1999. Presumeably that is based on profitability by that time. Alan Enbring of Vical's Investor's Relations is not that enthusiastic. He sees profitability by 2000 at the earliest and, of course, doesn't predict the stock price. I'm still looking for a short-term spike in the price based on a new "business arrangement" that the company has hinted at in several recent announcements.
