Implicitly, ethics involves a judgement. Who is judging this person, Tim? It's a non sequitur to say that this isolated person can be acting right or wrong, because that statement references an observer external to the actor evaluating the behavior or act as "right" or "wrong" or "immoral" or "moral". Who's definition of right and wrong would we be referencing in this thought experiment? If ones says some "absolute sense of right and wrong" then there is a problem of defining who or what put these standards in place. Can you give me an example of a moral issue which involves no one and nothing else?
