TROY, Mich., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Delphi Corporation's (NYSE: DPH) four-wheel steering system, QUADRASTEER(TM), which debuted on several full size trucks and SUVs this past year, was selected by Women in Automotive Journalism (WAJ) as a top three finalist for the "Top New Automotive Feature for 2003." Delphi's nomination was acknowledged at the Ford Conference and Events Center in Dearborn yesterday at the "What Women Want ... in the Cars They Drive" breakfast, sponsored by the Women's Economic Club of Detroit (WEC).

WAJ, a group of influential, U.S.-based, women auto writers, columnists, test-drivers and editors who cover the auto industry, focused on performance, safety, interior functionality and comfort as key criteria for selecting the finalists.

"QUADRASTEER's focus on maneuverability and stability make it a comfort and safety feature for drivers of full size SUVs and pickup trucks," stated Robert J. Remenar, president of Delphi Saginaw Steering Systems. "Delphi is honored to receive this recognition which identifies the importance of driving ease and safety as something women want in the vehicles they drive."

QUADRASTEER also provides benefits while driving at highway speeds and while trailering. Using all four wheels to steer the vehicle helps make highway lane changes more stable, especially during inclement weather. While trailering at higher speeds, QUADRASTEER virtually eliminates any trailer sway. And with QUADRASTEER, backing into a parking space with a trailer becomes a show of swift confidence.
