Because the Republicans had to turn around the mess Jimmy Carter left, and it was a big one, and then had to fight the liberal democrats to get anything passed...Clinton stepped in just as the economy was turning around, and about to take off....he had nothing to do with it!...What part of economics 101 don't you get???? Before he left he had sucked the economy dry, almost eliminated our military and our supplies. He Sold military secrets to the enemies, and rented out the White House!..
