I noted in prior posting re comparison charts... Time lines on correlations have shifted right... by a day or two... So, "drift" in the major markets today not unexpected... but huge uncertainty means they might whip saw it either way... The Russian invasion seems it has been green-lighted by Biden... as a useful distraction from "truckers"... and the ramp in inflation... and growing market awareness of inflation ? But, who knows... if it doesn't happen... they'll claim they prevented it... if it does... "told ya so"... In either case... "its the trade" that's the point, it seems... as they're kneecapping the market... probably intending "just enough" to stop it from sustaining the rise... to limit future risk... hoping inflation will deflate the bubble for them in a sideways move... if they can get everyone to ignore the inflation... ??? The odds of them "managing" anything well from here... ??? Noted, today... how concerned they were about Americans in Ukraine... desperate to get everyone out before the shooting starts... which only reminded me how LITTLE they worried or cared about Americans in Afghanistan as they were abandoned to the Taliban... So, can't take them seriously... in anything other than expecting they're lying... and probably going to screw it up... and, clearly are in a panic.. likely to go stupid...
