I'm jinxed! My first yogurt maker (Euro Cuisine YM80) overcooked the yogurt at 124 degrees (center cup) so I returned it for credit and got the Dash Bulk Yogurt Maker that LindyBill uses. After 8 hours the mixture was 119 degrees and I'm now at 15 hours and 119 with the mixture still very liquid, so it appears I have another bad unit.

I liked the simplicity of Dash's single 1 quart container so I may try the Dash DGY001WBU-C recommended by Alan. Has anyone actually measured the steady state temperature of this unit? There were a couple of recent comments with pictures showing this unit melted and was a fire hazard.

Any other suggestions? I'm beginning to wonder if a small Instant Pot may be the best solution if the temperature is adjustable.
