Bush wanted to invade Iraq in 1998 but never told us when he was running for prez in 2000. In fact, he lied and said in the debate that he would be a humble non nation-builder who would stay at home. Bush lied from day one. Cheney and cronies were also salivating over the prospect of Iraqi oil, which may be the main reason Cheney was picked as VP.

Combine with Karl Rove and Jeb Bush's fixing the election in Florida, and there you have it. The fix was in from day one, including the phony energy crisis too.
