nobody i know spends their day timing photoshop filters. no, but professional photoshop users are continually mindful of how long it takes them to get a job done on photoshop, and on really big files there is a significant time savings between using a fast RISC chip and a wintel box.... but if you are just reading a few news clippings, an imac or ibook is plenty fast enough..... jon.
