I think that these aesthetically oriented artistic types simply find the Windows experience less appealing than the Mac experience, at a very visceral level. And I have to agree with them. I think the graphics community took the Apple/Mac road years ago when Windows was not an acceptable alternative and just like Win/Pc users not wanting to start over or learn a new system have stuck with the Mac when today that isn't necessarily justified, but is logical. I wonder how many SGI users have moved to other platforms in recent years or are they just as loyal to what they spend so many years really getting to master? Don
