Golden Eagle CEO and Technical Team On-Site Evaluating Status of C Zone Gold Mine Build-Out and Mill Expansion
Company Receives Favorable Environmental Classification for C Zone Gold Project
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH—(MARKETWIRE)---September 6, 2007---Golden Eagle International, Inc. (OTCBB: MYNG) announced today that its CEO, Terry Turner, together with the Company’s technical team, are at the C Zone in eastern Bolivia this week coordinating and facilitating the gold mine build-out and mill expansion. The C Zone is located on Golden Eagle’s Precambrian properties 300 kilometers (180 miles) north of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. “Our goal is to get the C Zone into production and to attempt to begin seeing a revenue stream in the fourth quarter,” stated Mac DeLozier, Golden Eagle’s VP for Bolivian Operations. “All of our energies are dedicated to bringing the mine and mill on-line and demonstrating the productive capacity of our Precambrian properties.” The Company also announced that its C Zone project received a favorable classification from the Bolivian Ministry of the Environment. In the final step toward environmental permitting for full-scale production, larger tailings impoundment issues for eventual projected production of up 1,000 tpd at the C Zone, as well as some water resource questions, had to be resolved for environmental and operational reasons during the CEO’s visit to Bolivia. With the resolution of those matters this week, the Company is taking the final step for issuance of its environmental permitting for full-scale operations while concluding its mine build-out and mill expansion.
