Haven't heard a thing recently. Hoping the ASC allows listing soon though. The ASE (Alberta Securities Exchange) has supposedly approved Redbird's position (about two weeks ago), but the ASC (Alberta Securities Commision) is holding things up again. No one seems to know why! This is all starting to be rediculous. One has to wonder if the ASC & ASE even talk to each other. Does anyone know the process by which companies must deal with these organizations? One also has to wonder if these organizations know how to size up a company...do they know what to look for? It seems to me the ASC & ASE don't have the right measuring sticks in determining if a company is on the up & up. Redbird management has shown they are a class & honest organization...but the ASE can't recogize a shaky organization like Bre-X. To me, they are spitting on the 'good guys' out of shame for having missed the 'bad guys'!!! I hope they (the ASE & ASC) wake up soon, or they won't have a decent organization who will want to list with them again !!
