I would only nitpick that the question asked in applications is not simply

"Have you ever been convicted of a felony."

The question asked is often "have you been arrested or convicted" of a felony or misdemeanor.

Even if not convicted. Not just weed, but accused sexworkers too, Lives and reputations ruined.

And regardless of what a person says the arrest information persists forever on public websites and in big data for sale.
