You see, that's typical on this thread, when challenged, those on the left act like we on the right don't get it. No it's not a "fable," it's a simple story to show the source of revenue. It's not about "rates" I don't challenge your assertion that the rich are paying less as a percentage of their income. During Reagan's years their effective rate was up around 70%. Yes I know all about the deductions and loopholes. The wealth of this nation has grown tremendously since then. I believe the wealthy are taxed too much and I for damn sure am not one of them. But they, "the wealthy," are also the ones who create the jobs. Regards, BobP
