Term limits are unconstitutional so we needn't worry about them.

As long as our population is growing our tax base MUST grow. This means everyone has to pay a little more in taxes. This is simple math and math can't be undone because of political beliefs.

When was the last time the gop supported broad-based tax increases to pay for any of their spending? Was it during the Reagan years? All their spending is debt. Now add tax cuts to the mix and the debt goes even higher.

Regarding Democrats. Here's the scariest point anyone can make. What happens when Dems stop raising the debt ceiling and stop raising taxes? The US will cease to exist. Not within months, days or weeks. Within hours. The only reason the US still exists today is that we have Democrats who raise the debt ceiling and taxes. Blaming them is the worst thing you can do. What happens when they stop doing the hard votes?

Why didn't US corporations punish the gop when it tried to default on the debt? Why did CEOs beg republicans for trillions in tax cuts and not even know the price of the tax cuts or how it was going to be paid for? Our CEOs are corrupt. That's why.
