Called RNTK today and spoke w/Mark Koenig. We had a very nice conversation. I asked how negotiations are coming along w/Texaco and when we might expect an announcement. He said they are still in negotiations which are progressing very nicely, however, he did not know when this would be completed. I asked could it happen by end of the year and he said it is possible, but Texaco is concurrently in negotiations w/Shell regarding a refinery
merger as well, so it will take time to complete agreement w/RNTK. He did say about 10 days ago Texaco completed a crucial part of the negotiation process, that of doing DD on RNTK's patents. Mark said everything checked out and Texaco is "very pleased". He continued to say that after the Bloomberg Conference they spent two days in "extensive talks" w/many investment firms many of whom put RNTK on top of their "watch list". He also said that
RNTK has developed a special relationship w/Howard Wiel, who has taken RNTK "under their wing" and they will be having "private meetings" with them in December. He would not say anything more about this.

I questioned him on their agreement w/Texaco about soliciting other companies.
He said other companies can solicit RNTK, but RNTK cannot solicit other companies. I asked have there been inquiries from other companies. He said "Oh yes!" . I asked if he could tell me from which companies and, of course, he said he couldn't divulge that information. I then asked if I would know or recognize the companies that have approached RNTK and he said I would recognize some, but most of them are foreign companies that I probably have
not heard of.

He went on to talk about how RNTK is in it's infancy, but that any competition is about 4-5 years behind RNTK. The company is in good shape financially and that he is confident that within two quarters they will be in the black from increase in revenues.

Most of this is old news for many, however I do want to say that Mr. Koenig was very pleasant to talk to and answered all my questions as best he could given his position. I encourage anyone w/questions to feel free to call him.
