Carney, Blackrock and the US banks had to stop climate finance to coerce corporate compliance with ESG and climate in their decision making because it could be interpreted as falling under US RICO statutes (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act). There is no such legislation in Canada I am aware of, however, if Carney wins and pushes ahead with net zero, ESG and the rest of his climate agenda, he will beggar Canadians and Canadian corporations. What likely would follow is capital restrictions to stop corporations and the capital from leaving Canada. Further, Carney's plan to attempt to remove provincial trade barriers is in reality, meant to pave the way for Laurentian elites to extend their business interests Canada wide with less costs and less competition. The last thing Canadians need is for Canada to become a Laurentian Liberal elite oligopoly, led by an international climate racketeering kingpin.
