I'm innerestid in how the GOP is fairing against the DEMS The GOP will repudiate Bush by the end of the year. I don't see any alternative scenario, unless the puppeteers suddently change their habits of 30 years and decide to actually act in the interests of the country, instead of their cohorts. Gov't policy shouldn't have too much effect on the economy, but it can certainly accelerate it south if the wrong people are at the controls. If the GOP repudiate the Bush policies and steer towards some sanity, Bush may last to '04, but will have a tough election if the Dems actually come up w. a decent candidate.
