Okay lets start with the numbers....

Triarc - Last time they paid a dividend - 1974 one whole cent. I put that in for fun but it is in fact true.

Here is the facts

52 week low 7/16/96 - 10 bucks
52 week high 5/23/97 - 23 and 5/8s

12 months EPS - Negative (.46) a share
Price to book 120 times
Debt to equity 84%
Return on Equity (198%) Negative
Return on Assets (.88%) Negative
Book value per share .23 Cents
Longterm debt 487 million
Shareholder equity 5.8 million

Institutions (58 of them) hold 15% of the 30 million shares.
Current price 22 and 7/8 and we are above the 50 and 200 day moving averages.

If there is a reason to like this stock I fail to see it. Good luck if your long this one - I'm short. See you in the teens with this one.

Cheers

Jim McCormack
