there's a pretty good piece in the current New Yorker describing the Disney/Time-Warner dust-up earlier this year, when TW ended up pulling ABC off the air in New York for a couple of days. I have to say that it does make one concerned a bit about how they might use monopoly power in the future. 'Course, one point of the article is that they screwed themselves royally by being so pushy, because in doing so they might have jeopardized the merger or at least ensured that it comes with conditions relating to open access... I'd post the link but the mag is still purely dead-tree at this point. But those who buy the issue will be rewarded with a couple of other good articles too, including a neat murder mystery and an interesting, if overlong, profile of Al Gore... tekboy@morethanyouwantedtoknow.com
