No, Intel is not working on SiGe to the best of my knowledge.

Remember - bipolar technology and GaAs are the technolgies of choice for RF applications. Intel is doing neither, although they used to have Bipolar PROMS and peripherals MANY YEARS ago.

And once again, analog/RF design requires specialized talent and art. Just owning some old Fabs will not guarantee success in this market. Besides, Intel seems to use these "aging" fabs quite resourcefully for their microcontrollers and peripherals.
