Going to vent….

Last night I did the unthinkable. The one thing I promised I would never do. I turned on CNN.

This guy who looks very familiar turns out to be the brother of Ex. Gov. Cuomo. Didn’t know he even exist! His message, “the Afghan war is finally over”. “Later on all of us will be glad the decisions made to get out of this war were indeed the right ones”. Celebration on the horizon.

I listened for about five minutes before the level of disgust overwhelmed me. I know social issues, abuse, cruelty and financial hardship while growing up drastically limits opportunities for one to prosper in a free society. These people, like our CNN host Cuomo, privileged and born with silver spoon in his mouth had all the advantages growing up. What can possibly be his excuse for being vile and dishonest?

Rational: Hungary during WWII the Germans implanted whistle blowers into the population. They would go to churches and social gatherings and deliberately speak of their distrust of the Nazis. By law those citizens who listened but not report these individuals went on a list. Later they were arrested then carried away never to be seen again. I ask what kind of person would turn in their own neighbors, friends or even relatives knowing they will be marched to their deaths. Turn on CNN or MSNBC. Those networks are loaded with them.
