The Japanese go to the doctor about 3 times as often as Americans, yet their costs appear to be lower. They obviously still have their issues, but so do we.

PBS had a good segment on that recently. You would not like what passes for an office visit in Japan. They take your BP and that's about it. The Docs are starving on the amount paid and shuffle them though as fast as possible. The don't have the Demographic problems we have. [Black and Latino]
