Hi Is the FDA easing up a little on drug approvals? The fast tracking of Elans "Antegran" is a surprise. Also, erbitux approval comes to mind. Would G Bush like to have more approvals in an election year? You know the usual: "...economy's never been better........new frontiers in medicine........revolutionary drugs for disease.....etc,etc" As I understand it, the FDA appointed a new boss some time ago that gave some people hope the FDA might become less cautious. Any views?
