However, perception is all and it appears Wall Street languishes in the perception that all is not well and folks are putting their money under their mattresses or out in the garden alá depression days. People in this country are standing breadlines. They can't get work. I was talking to someone in class tonight who said her sister had moved down from Seattle, where things are a disaster, to find work in Oregon, which isn't much better off. The sis got a good job, but it took her five months.
