Mr. Patrick Cavanaugh and Mr. Eric Wiltzen report
Squaw Creek
White Knight and Chapleau will commence drilling on the Squaw Creek property during the first week of October. A total of approximately 11,000 feet of drilling will be completed in eight planned drill holes. This program is a follow-up to drilling conducted in May and June which discovered a zone of gold mineralization extending over a strike length of at least 8,000 feet and an average true width of about 80 feet. The Squaw Creek property adjoins the Ivanhoe property currently being drilled by Great Basin Gold and is located just seven miles southeast of the Ken Snyder mine currently under option by Franco Nevada.
Indian Ranch
Permitting is well under way on a proposed 62-hole drill program on the Indian Ranch property. Archeological and biological studies have been completed and an ethnographic study is currently being conducted as required by the Battle Mountain office of the Bureau of Land Management. Environmental Management Associates is co-ordinating the permitting process. It is anticipated that all permits will be received well in time for drilling next year. During October, a soil survey and a CSAMT survey will be conducted on the property to help refine drill targets.
