I agree with you JXM, this past school year my husband and I were in conflict with the school over this very issue. The were not at all happy when we refused to have our son tested. I refused because no matter what their testing showed.....or for that matter didn't show. It would be in his permanent school records. Knowing my child as I do, and with my college back round being in education, I felt they were out of line. I basically told them so. It was a rough year from that point on. But I believe as parents we acted in the best interest of our child. Jane
