Subway Slasher Hero Gets UFC Surprise myfoxphilly.com Lozito Says He Learned Moves From Watching UFC NEW YORK - The Philadelphia man who stopped a stabbing spree in New York got a surprise visit Monday from one of his idols, Ultimate Fighting Championship's Dana White. It all started when Joe Lozito came face-to-face with Maksim Gelman, who is accused of a 28-hour stabbing spree. Lozito says he learned some of the mixed martial arts moves he used to take down Gelman by watching UFC on television. Fox's Andrea Day picks up the story from there in this video report.
