Robertson Stephens Reiterates Buy Rating, Raises Estimates on ASDV

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 20, 1999--Robertson Stephens eBusiness Software Analyst Kash Rangan and Managing Director and Senior eBusiness Software Analyst Marshall Senk today reiterated their Buy rating and raised estimates on Aspect Development (NASDAQ:ASDV), after the company reported strong third quarter results. ASDV develops, markets, and supports enterprise client/server software and content products that enable manufacturers to improve product development and business processes through component and supplier management.

"We are reiterating our Buy rating and $40 price target on ASDV, after the company reported third quarter results that were ahead of our estimates, and Consensus numbers as well," said Rangan and Senk.

"ASDV delivered upside across the board. Revenues came in at $26.0 million and earnings-per-share at $0.08, exceeding our estimates of $25.0 million and $0.07, respectively," said Rangan and Senk. "As a result, we are raising our calendar year 2000 revenue estimates from $132.2 million to $134.0 million and our earnings-per-share estimates from $0.53 to $0.56."
