Concur.

Way too expensive.
We have a bunch of retired 3 and 4 stars who never learned a thing about counter-insurgency getting rich working for contractors who don't know a thing about counter-insurgency.

We have contractors in charge of many security and combat operations in an environment their corporate leaders do not comprehend. We have the Pentagon lost in a maze they created for themselves. We have admirals in charge of ground operations.

And folks wonder why we are 9 years into a small war with no end in sight.

Take out the contractor financial incentives and we can end both wars in 90 days. We will win nothing so long as we have both countries loaded up with contractors who are more profit oriented than anything else.
