Cute, really cute: Mountaintop removal mining doesn't employ that many people. It only takes a small crew using explosives and running bulldozers to blow the top off a mountain. So this is strictly to benefit the mining companies. Otherwise it is harmful to people who actually live in the Appalachian Mountains. Huge quantities of toxins enter the air and water from this:
