Carpenter I know had the ablation done two years ago. He went into emergency with symptoms and he was air ambulanced to Ottawa Heart immediately. Unfortunately in Canada you need to be on death's door before anyone will do something for you. That is socialist medicine from Liberal/NDP idiot governments. Several heart specialist clinics have opened up in Ottawa lately that may get you in earlier. Need a referral from your doctor. These clinics have all the latest detection equipment and stress tests which puts the hospitals to shame, including heart institutes. Google Capital Cardiology. I believe they are linked to US based clinics that do procedures as well. https://capitalcardiology.ca/ Day surgery clinics are being set up by the doctors in these clinics for the simpler heart procedures like ablations, angiograms and stents. Private ones may exist. The doctors in these clinics would know.
