I don't know what would happen if you deleted the temp folders when QCharts was running. QCharts support folks always say to exit QCharts first. It doesn't take long to go down, or to come back up, so for me it hasn't been (much) of an issue. The issue for me is why we have to do it at all? Ah well, off soapbox.
