No! I swear I live in Brussels... I've only been thrice across the Atlantic... First time was in 1988... I was still an undergraduate at Brussels' university... I had to do a "corporate traineeship/internship"... I phoned all over the world --Singapore, Australia, the US, and, successfully, Canada. I called Edmonton's office for the local development... I asked the guy to mail me the Alberta register (listing hundreds of corporations). And I picked the sexiest one: General Systems Research Inc., a laser cutter developer. I phoned, the secretary put me thru to the CEO, one Dr Eric Schmidt... he told me the person who would handle my request was Dr Roger Ball (a native of New Zealand)... The next week I got a fax confirming my internship with GSR Inc! And I never met those people before! Some of GSR employees shared a small airplane (a Cessna if I recall) so I flew over to Banff, Jasper,...

Next it was in 1990: Chicago... a wonderful city. Next in 1991 or 1992: NYC and Los Angeles... Santa Monica, third street promenade, getty museum...a nice place.
