More good indications from the free version Avast! anti-virus.

1. I scanned 1 zip file that contained 1 file and 1 folder which contained an additional 5 archived files. The results of the scan were no viruses found in 7 files. Seems like a good indication that Avast! is doing its job properly on compressed archives.

2. There were two updates today, one in the morning, one just a few minutes ago. Also look at the size of the file and the time that was required to downloaded update. Here's the report:

Information about current update:
Total time: 28 s

- Vps: Updated
(previous version: 0307-10, updated version: 0308-0)
- iNews: Already up to date

Server: www.asw.cz/iavs4pro (195.70.130.34:80)
Downloaded files: 4 (12.92 KB)
Download time: 6 s

Incremental updates as advertised. Result: 13kb file size and 6 second download.
