Sorry to hear about your experience. IMHO Symantec remains a terrific value play. Excellent product announcements keep coming out, the company's balance sheet is pristine...I apologize if this sounds like arm-chair quarterbacking but maybe you should've considered averaging down, not cashing out. I jumped in SYMC at ~10-11, but am in NO hurry to sell. If anything I'll increase my position. BTW, another poster said CYE is developing new antivirus S/W. Don't worry about it. Frankly I question CYE's strategy of trying to dislodge McAffee or Symantec from their antivirus market positions. Patience is key. If Symantec current management can't get job done, then someone else :-) will. Just my .02!
