J, (Jack!!??... :0) Bill was originally involved in something similiar to this process back in the late '80s. He became an investor in a company that was working on the technology to process waste oil right at the local "jiffy-Lubes". They were supposed to be small units aimed at becoming co-generation power plants... Ie.. convert waste oil to diesel, and then run it in generators to lower the Jiffy-Lubes cost or overhead. Didn't work out. Bill bought the patent rights to the Thermal Cracking/Metalllic particles process. (the theory that micron and submicron metallic particles suspended in the waste oil enhance the Thermal Cracking distillation process.) He then went to work, raised the money, apparently built 7 different prototypes of various capacities and success, before this unit. There is surely much more, but this was what I gleaned from him during my first trip to Charleston in November. Regards, Ron
