Idiot Liberals show how stupid they are. Government documents reveal the Liberals were aware their new Green Fuel Regulations would benefit U.S. companies, and hurt Canadian companies. The Green Fuel regulations mandate increased use of ethanol and biodiesel in the fuel mix. This has given an advantage to American bio-diesel producers which benefit from large corn subsidies given to them by the U.S. government. Canadian refineries can’t compete, so Canadian fuel producers are forced by government regulations to buy American products. The government originally estimated the cost of these regulations would raise prices by 13 cents per litre for gasoline, and 16 cents for diesel. The Liberals have made Canada more reliant on the U.S. for the fuel that runs our tractors and trucks. Canada should not have to import ANY fuel. During the election, Carney plagiarized Stephen Harper when he claimed he wanted Canada to be an energy superpower. A real energy superpower would not be forced to import diesel.
