He's the only one who's an executive and has gone head-to-head with Obama in a live policy situation(NationalGuard on the border). And he's been pretty successful in creating an environment of/for success in Texas. He'd have gotten some mileage out of the last one. And this election he doesn't have back pain so he'd have been much better in the debates. Hard to say how far he would have gone. I'm still torn between Cruz, Paul and Ben Carson. Guess we'll see.
