Hi Coug!
I love the way these funny tests often stimulate just this kind of musing.

You write:
I know the old answer of growing more conservative as we get older.. sowing wild oats, etc.. but I don't buy it

Really? Why not? Age and experience teach us caution and a certain degree of wisdom based on the learned knowledge of consequences. Basic value systems I believe are inculcated in the first several years of life and are subject to modification by the environment. That is a different kind of conservatism than the political conservatism to which you seem to be trying to draw a parallel.

I would doubt anyone tried to bias this test in order to present ANY distorted picture of him or herself- in either direction. If I am reading your post correctly, you are saying that the lower scorers-- jp, Ish, TC, Freddy, are now the MOST conservative politically-- which I don't think is true- and those of us with the higher scores are less so?
Joan, Justin, Neo, I?

Well, it's fun to make up this stuff, but it would be very dangerous to attempt to draw ANY kind of meaningful relationship between these scores and a person's real value system or moral development. As Coby noted, the test was heavily weighted toward sex and drugs, and not toward issues I would consider far more accurate measures of someone's goodness. (Remember Belle Watling in Gone With the Wind, the whore with a heart of gold?)

The things I have done that I am truly ashamed of, that I would consider impure, aren't represented on this test at all. Cruel words, selfishness, greed, are far worse in my eyes than getting drunk-- or licking an eyeball...
I admit I haven't a clue what rimming is...and don't think I want to
