My dear Mr. Bug, I believe that you totally miss the point of investing. If in fact I held stock that I bought in 1974, I would sell it now so that I could pay taxes on it. I am very proud to pay taxes and I pay a lot of them. Then I would buy intel back, but of course I would wait 30 days so that it wasn't a wash sale. I want to be sure to pay those taxes --P.
