We have introduced technologies such as television, social media, and smart phones without any study as to how they change perceptions and behaviors. Just as fossil fuels are a giant science experiment on the planet many of these other technologies are science experiments on humans. It shouldn't be a surprise that this is all turning out badly. That doesn't even get into all of the things like industrial chemicals and drugs.

We are all in the movie "Brazil", except its real life with Chump as the Director.
