What one needs to keep in mind is that all this building/mining/timber/furniture, etc., is just icing on the cake.

The whole reason for the merger was for the capital to put the telecom together and the new company has some interesting contacts in these areas as well as the capital to get the job done.

In short, GTMI has not turned itself into a "furniture" company - it's telecom interest are still there and very much in the forefront.
