QUALCOMM wants to establish BREW business in Europe 09:20 Thursday September 4, 2003, Telecom.paper QUALCOMM is looking to establish its BREW business in Europe and with enterprise customers. The company claims that European application developers are beginning to see the benefits of a BREW-based applications marketplace and payment system. Among the European developers currently creating BREW content are Mobile Scope, Macrospace, Interzen and Anthropics. Meanwhile, QUALCOMM hopes that 3-5 enterprise customers will be beta testing BREW applications by end-1st-quarter 2004. The company expects individual employees within companies to drive initial BREW take-up. telecom.paper.nl
