03 15 08 remain in the bond fund

stockcharts.com

the above link contains all the funds available to us in our 401k retirement plan

most of which had down weeks again last week. The markets have been falling now about 5 months. And the trend shows no signs of improving as price is doing the down trend thing and staying below the two moving average lines that are applyed to every chart on the link above.

Also on the chart on the link above have down channel lines that are marked in red. This is where I believe the down channel will follow, price will likely bounce off the bottom line.

Many of the charts have price that is at the bottom down channel line NOW.

Also on the charts above are blue horizontial lines that I placed on these chart where I thought a bottom may take place and a place where the market may rally from.

Many of these charts are at this blue line now.

So. What I am thinking is that the market may rally in some sort of fashion in the area that we are now in.

But without knowing for sure I want so sort of confirmation that a good entry spot has taken place.

The signs that I am looking for are most of the charts crossing over the blue moving average. currently they are below this line. For a rally to occur I want to see the majority crossing over this line.

You can watch for this your self by watching the charts above as they are updating automatically daily. Remember each candlestick is one week as these are weekly charts.

Last friday 90% of the stocks traded where down. This is extreme and unusual. This usually occurrs at the start of a down trend.

The market will no reverse up until there is more buyers than sellers. As you can see from fridays 90% sellers day, there are plenty of sellers left.

But with so many seller all in one day on friday I wouldnt be surprised to see the market start moving upward possible from here.

But for the time being we are moving down and until evidence of something other wise I prefer the bond fund.
