The compentition eventually will benfit to consumers. We as investors, as well as consumers should give more support to such kind of compentition. plus if AMD success, we can easily double or even triple our investment.

There's no doubt in my mind that competition is good for the industry, except in certain cases.

Right now, I'm very worried that the KNI vs. 3D-Now debate will carry over into a standards war, where each company pushing their own instruction set as the "standard." 3D-Now is already out there, but it'd be naive to think that Intel will just give up on promoting KNI. This could lead to a division in the x86 marketplace where certain games and applications will be geared toward 3D-Now, while others will be supporting only KNI.
