Hugh:

I know the answers to most of your questions, however, I'll my thoughts by management to make sure I'm on target. I'll also try to workout a full accounting of shares from 39MM to 54MM. I have most of them but want there's a couple of million I'm not sure about.

Regarding the price, I think Steve Pratt's explanation is the most accurate.

For all to do DD on...

1. Look at DAY's new board.
2. Look at DAY's financials.
3. Pay particular attention to the 6/17/98 MDIN news release.
4. Review a map of the DAY / MDIN properties in Andacollo.
5. Research relationships between new DAY board and MDIN management.
6. Research relationships between Manchester and DAY debenture holders.

Ask yourself the following questions...

How much have the debenture holders put into DAY?
How much high grade ore does DAY have left?
How much do we have? (See Research Report)
Where are our properties in relationship to DAY's?
What other problems is DAY running into with their mining plan?
If old DAY management had nowhere to go but to MDIN why didn't they?
Why would the new board takeover a company that's losing $60/oz?
What alternatives do they have with the Andacollo?

Cheers,

KMT
