Jayfish, I don't see how the status would change. Lots of things cost money, but it doesn't confer special status on those who pay it. We pay for the privilege of having a mature discussion board, free of most of the idiocy that these free sites entail. Believe me, $20 is a very small price to pay to have a calm, intelligent discussion of all things stocks.
