This is all I found so far: RESEARCH ALERT - Novellus upgraded NEW YORK, Sept 22 (Reuter) - Bankers Trust Alex.Brown said on Monday it raised its rating on shares of Novellus Systems Inc to strong buy from buy. Analyst Byron Walker said: ``We believe the copper portion of the new IBM(IBM - news) chip is being done on an unannounced Novellus tool.'' On Monday, IBM unveiled a new semiconductor manufacturing process that enabled the company to shrink electronic circuitry to fit more computer ``intelligence'' onto a single chip. The technology would use copper instead of aluminum to create the circuitry on the silicon wafers. Walker also said Novellus' multiple had lagged its peers. Novellus also said Monday its board approved a two-for-one stock split.
