chas--

of course MU wont shut down, that would mean admitting that things arent as rosy as they seem.

the problem is, regardless of what is happening at GTW, this is not a demand led firming. if the asians werent shutting down, there wouldnt be firming.

now, on the duv issue, you are also thinking that MU will be able to make the move. this isnt assured yet, they might have to issue more stock, or increase the debt load. either way the company starts to look bad.

and dont look for rambus to save them...the asians, god, and everyone else has licensed RMBS technology.

oh, i think the target of 2h99 is probably accurate. i wouldnt expect to see a dramatic climb, but it will definitely tighten. of course, then you have 256Mb parts coming online...anyway you slice it its a hard industry, and one that MU should be leveraging its way out of.

good luck to all,
trey
