I am recommending against Salon.Com based upon the non-success of Ravenswood Winery. I believe this process of bidding and limits is ridiculous and completely strips ipos of their "exclusiveness". When everyone can buy an ipo and the price is elevated by bidding before going public, this kills the gap up on the first day. My recommendation is only for flippers who don't want to waste time and money. Long term people, should make their own judgements.
